Naked Juice is one of the most popular juice brands in the United States and one of the most controversial. Despite being branded by its manufacturers as a healthy beverage, they also indicated that the drinks aren’t exactly low in calories. Is Naked Juice healthy? Let’s find out.

Machines are a selection of smoothies made from fruit juice and healthy additives, such as kale, ginger, flax seeds, wheatgrass, and spirulina, that provide all the extra nutrients.

The Half-Naked product line is another selection of smoothies but contains “50% less sugar than other leading brands”.

  • Naked Green Machine, which contains 53 grams of sugar
  • Protein Greens Smoothie, which contains 50 grams of sugar


Protein Naked Juice blends contain 18-30 grams of protein and 330-390 calories per standard bottle. They are suitable as a post-workout snack, depending on your individual goals. 

These Naked Juices are available in different flavors, such as Peach Mango, Tropical, Double Berry, Greens, and Blueberry Banana.

  • Carbs: 63 grams

  • Vitamins A, B2, and B6: 25% of the DV

Other Naked Juice products, such as Red or Blue Machine, contain as much as 76 grams of carbs and 320 calories per 450-ml bottle.

Naked Juices pack several potential benefits, including providing your daily antioxidant needs, provided you consume them in moderation. Fruits and vegetables are known to contain antioxidants that help safeguard your body against chronic diseases. 

Further, these antioxidants also offer protection against damage caused by free radicals, which are unstable molecules that cause oxidative stress.

Vitamin A
